Delivering when the clients are “hungry for it”

BBC Three presents a new ultimate cookery crash course, Hungry For It.

Stacey Dooley, Big Zuu and Chef Kay Kay test out ten rookie cooks. They’ll live and work together - but who’ll win the foodie trip of a lifetime?

To accompany the tv show, the BBC ran a social media campaign where they awarded members of the public a “Mister Leng Star” (A modern day word-play based on another similar culinary award) trophy in recognition of their cool and often crazy culinary creations posted online.

Designworks were asked to create a limited batch of gold trophies depicting Big Zuu dressed in a puffer jacket outfit reminiscent of the infamous Michelin Man.

It was imperative that the awards represented high quality and were ready to go out during the shows broadcast window which presented us with an almost impossible deadline. Undeterred and by utilising our in-house 3D printing capabilities, supported with finishing to the highest standard by our skilled workshop technicians, these golden figures were successfully delivered in time for their star performance.
